Paper Sundaes Sponsor Celebration & Blog Hop
Welcome to Paper Sundaes Sponsor Celebration & Blog Hop! We were so excited about our AMAZING Sponsor line-up this year that we wanted to have a blog hop to celebrate. Each DT member is featuring a different sponsor, can you guess which one? We hope you play along with our challenges all year which are posted every Sunday. I promise you will not be disappointed! Join us and play along in our blog hop as there are wonderful creations made by our talented design team to see and multiple prizes to be won along the way! There are actually 5 prizes to be won on the main Paper Sundaes Blog so be sure to read all of the details so you don't miss out! If you arrived at my blog from Danielle's blog you are on the right track! If not please head back to Paper Sundaes to start at the beginning! The card I made in order to celebrate was using a Magnolia image "Tilda with Lilacs".
I used Flower Soft for the very first time on the lilacs :) It was so much fun, will definitely have to do more of this! The paper used was from Bo Bunny and the image was coloured with copics. I was having so much fun with this card I forgot to keep track of my colours. I used some flowers from Prima and Wild Orchid Crafts as well as some Kaisercraft pearls, rhinestone brad by Recollections and miscellaneous lace ribbon from my stash and stickles for Tilda's wings! I learned a very important lesson when creating this card.....be very careful where you are stamping your sentiment on your main image as it may not be centered correctly! I stamped it again on a smaller nestability die cut and it still looks OK I think! Hope you enjoy it too!
To celebrate I'm also offering my own blog candy to the hop but there is a catch! In order to qualify to win you must complete the blog hop and comment on all of our design team cards! I'd also like to know what product you could not live without when creating cards or scrapbooking pages of your own! Here is a photo (sorry it's not the best) of my candy (brand new Martha Stewart set of 12 Iridescent fine glitter). I may even add a few surprise items :)
Your next stop on the blog hop is Carla! Happy Hopping and don't forget to check out our spectacular sponsor line-up on the side bar of the Paper Sundaes Blog!
Will be entering my card in the Simon Says Stamp Challenge to create something with wings & Just Magnolia - Anything Goes!

Magnolia Thank You Card
Although I check out the challenge blogs fairly often I never seem to get the time to make card in order to beat the deadline for the challenges. I'm working on it though.....this week I was fairly sick so I stayed home today so as not to infect the rest of my co-workers :) In between coughing fits I managed to create a card that fits three current challenges and use up some scraps - YAY ME!
I'm entering this into the following challenges:
-Magnolia Stamp Lovers Challenge which is to create a scene (I used Tilda standing with hair bow & Fence & Summer Background)
-Stamp Something which is to create something layered. (I layered my paper & images & I guess you could say my "Thank You" sentiment is layered as it is a Making Memories Rub-on)
-Simon Says Stamp Challenge to create something with wings. Tilda is an angel and has wings so I'm hoping that counts :)
This scene was coloured with copics (E00, E11, E13, E15, E17, E41, E43, E44, B0000, B00, B02, R02, RV32, RV34, YG13, YG17 and C00. Cardstock used was Bazill dotted cardstock and the blue paper is by Bo Bunny. I also used my spica glitter pens to colour the flowers and outline the pink shirt Tilda is wearing! Hope you like it!
Just a reminder....be sure to stop by Paper Sundaes and enter for your change to win a Hanglar Stangler "Girl with Letter Stamp". These stamps are so hard to come by and you have multiple chances to win! Paper Sundaes is having our Sponsor Celebration & Blog hop this Saturday so be sure to check it out and play along as there are many great prizes! I will be offering some blog candy too :)

Paper Sundaes Challenge #14 - No People!
Happy Sundae! For Paper Sundaes 14th Challenge we were lucky enough to be sponsored by Meljen's Designs. If you haven't heard of them you have to check them out....they have some really great digi images! Melissa was wonderful enough to let us choose a digital image to use in the challenge this week which is to make something with No people, just animals! I chose this super cute image "Hangin Around Kitty". As soon as I saw it I knew it was the image I wanted to use!
The paper I used was from a Package I picked up from Michaels called "Totally Girl" by My Minds Eye. It has the most amazing paper in it. There is 180 sheets (3 of each design) so that will keep me busy for a while! I coloured this image with copics (E41, RV32, RV34, W2, W4, W6) and printed out the "Hang in There" sentiment on my computer and cut out. I also used my Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder, my SU scallop border punch, brown pearls & some brown ribbon that I stole from my best friend Jen. (OK....didn't actually steal it....I asked first :)
If you haven't heard about Paper Sundaes Sponsor Celebration & Blog Hop be sure to check out all the details here! Someone will be lucky enough to win a Hanglar Stanglar stamp "Girl with Letter". Make sure you read all the information as there are multiple chances to win! I will also personally be offering some blog candy on the day of the hop so make sure to check back here :)

Paper Sundaes Challenge #13 - Make a Scene
Happy Sundae! The challenge for this week's Paper Sundaes 13th Challenge is to make a "scene" card and is sponsored by My Creative Classroom an online arts and crafts learning center! When I first heard about the challenge I thought "How am I going to do that?" Then I realized I had a bunch of Magnolia stamps that I could use to create a scene. I used 4 different stamps sets to create this card and layered all the images: Stone Wall and End Pillar, Fence and Summer Background (clouds), Tilda with Flower Jeans and Butterflies. All images except the cloud were coloured with copics (B00, B02, B04, B06, YG13, YG17, E00, E11, E33, E35, E13, E15, E17, E18, E37, E44, E49, E43, R02, R22, R39, RV32, RV34, W2, W4 and W6). I cut out each image and then glued it on to my blue background paper. I wasn't thinking when I started as I did the stone wall before the clouds, that was pretty messy to tear off, let me tell you! I used SU cardstock and SU border punch. I also decided I wanted to try stitching on my card but don't have a lot of coloured thread for my sewing machine so I hand stitched it with DMC embroidery thread, god knows I have TONS of that! I used my pink spica glitter pen to add to the butterflies and my clear glitter to add to Tilda's wings but I couldn't get it to show up well in my photo.
This was a fun challenge! Making a scene card can be interpreted in so many different ways. Did you check out the amazing creations by the rest of the Paper Sundae Girls? I checked out My Creative Classroom's class schedule and there is definitely something for everyone from rubber stamping to scrapbooking techniques and even courses on different die cut machines! I want to take "Beginner Scenic Stamping" with Sandy Hulsart, the samples look amazing!
I will also be entering this into Roses on Papers Challenge #35 which is to create layers. I hope that by layering my stamped images this will count! I will be entering it also into Sew Many Challenges because they asked to use stitching on my card. Hopefully my attempt at hand-stitching counts :)
Paper Sundaes has even more exciting news so be sure to check out the Paper Sundaes Blog to hear about our sponsor celebration & blog hop! Have a great day :)

Quick Card - WS Cat & Birdie
I have so many images that I coloured ages ago when I first started colouring with copics that I finally decided I need to make something with them! My son has his cousin spending the night tonight and while they were playing I pulled them out. I made this card using paper from my scrap bin (all paper was SU) and added a ribbon for a little something extra. Cute & Simple! The image is a Whipper Snapper image called "Cat & Bird". Did I mention previously I have a Whipper Snapper addiction? I have so many WS stamps and I really don't use them enough! Plus I have so many scraps of design paper that I need to be using more of so I'll be making alot more quick cards in the future :) Have a great weekend everybody! Be sure to check back on Sunday for the latest Paper Sundaes Challenge!

Paper Sundaes Challenge #12 - Wags & Whiskers
Happy Easter Sundae! Paper Sundaes Challenge #12 this week is a sketch challenge and our design team was lucky enough to use stamps from Wags and Whiskers latest release "Let's Play" which are available at Stamp & Create. I chose to use the image "Slam Dunk because my son LOVES basketball! There are also other sports related stamps in this set such as soccer, baseball, dance, swimming and hockey so be sure to check them all out! Here is the sketch:
And my take on it using the super cute "Slam Dunk" image:
I used some basketball paper that I had already and then found the orange paper that is called Basketball Leather (by Reminisce) and is textured just like a real basketball which I thought was super cool! I picked up some Basketball themed embellishments (#1 and All-Star) by Me & My Big Ideas and already had some chipboard stars so just added some yellow glitter and the velvet scalloped ribbon to finish it off. The image itself was coloured with copics (E00, E02, E43, E35, E33, E37, E41, E44, B00, B23, B24, R02, YR16, and YR18). I hope you join us for this weeks challenge over at Paper Sundaes! The winner of this week's challenge wins a fabulous prize: 2 stamps of their choice from the latest "Let's Play" sports release PLUS a $15.00 gift certificate to Stamp & Create! Stamp & Create carries many different lines of stamps, embellishments, paper & more so be sure to check them out!
