Happy Easter!!

I know, I know.....I'm early and Easter is still a ways away yet!!  I just couldn't resist colouring up this super sweet image by The Stamping Boutique called Bunny Egg.  

She was coloured with copics and then cut out using my oval nesties.  I also used the scallop ovals for the background.  The DP is from last year and is by WE R Memory Keepers and is called Hippity Hop.  The Happy Easter sentiment was also fussy cut out from the DP.   Other supplies used: Fiskars Border punch, lace & crocheted flowers by Recollections.  I just checked out The Stamping Boutique Store and they have this image on sale for $2.25 as well as the other boy bunny image here!  Make sure you get it while you can!

Back to School Audrey Bookmark

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post.  I've had some things going on in my personal life and just haven't been able to post lately.  I made this book mark using the Stamping Boutique image "Back to School Audrey" as The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring the challenge over at Dutch Dare Card Challenges (Create a Back to School Bookmark).

I have to say that I love how this turned out.  The image was coloured with copics and then I added glossy accents to her glasses.  All paper is from my DCWV Grade School paper pack and cardstock was bazill.  Other supplies used:  brads & ribbon from my stash & EK Border Punch.  I'm giving this bookmark away to the little girl of a friend of mine whose name also happens to be Audrey!

Best Wishes on your Birthday!

Today's card was made using The Stamping Boutique image "Audrey with a Cupcake", isn't she just adorable?  Tracey has so many fantastic Audrey images over at her store!  I made this card for Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog and the challenge is to use the sentiment "Best Wishes" on your card.   I followed the sketch over at The Sweet Stop (SSS71).

The image was coloured with copics and all paper for this card was from Bo Bunny.  The flower, ribbon & brad were all from supplies I've had for a while so it was nice to use them and the "Best Wishes" sentiment was from CC Designs Spring kit.  Hope you are having a fabulous week!

Do you Believe?

I've been having a rough few weeks but managed to finish this card with the most adorable image "Santa in the Window" from The Stamping Boutique.  I kept the card fairly simple because I wanted to focus on the image.  The "Believe" sentiment was taken from a rubber stamp that I own and added on top of the image.  I then added some Glossy Accents to make it really pop!

The image was coloured with copics and then mounted on Bazill Cardstock some of which was embossed with my snowflake cuttlebug folder and then spritzed with Pearl Glimmer Mist.  It's really hard to tell from the photo.  This image reminds me so much of being a little girl waiting for Santa to arrive!  I tell my son all the time that if he doesn't believe Santa won't come but being 10 now he tells me "Mom, you know I don't believe anymore & Santa still comes!"

I coloured the image with copics and spica glitter pens and used cardstock and paper from my scraps.  Being as the theme is sewing I decided to incorporate some on my card.  Since I didn't have any pink thread I decided to use my DMC floss and handstitched the border around the outside of the card (shhh.....I NEVER said sewing was my strong point but it was fun)!  I added some buttons and pink ribbon from my stash as well!  I couldn't decide on a sentiment so I left it blank for now but I think I will add "Thanks.....you are sew sweet" when I send it out later!  Isn't this image just adorable?

Craftalicious Challenge #2 - Audrey with Birthday Cupcake

The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring another challenge this time over at Craftalicious!  Challenge #2 is to create a monotone card and here is my creation:

The image I used is from The Stamping Boutique and is called "Audrey with a Birthday Cupcake".  Isn't she a cutie?  I'm still getting used to the monotone cards so I kept this one very simple.  My cardstock is Stampin Up and so are the felt flowers.  I used some miscellaneous ribbon and brads from my stash and a SU scallop border punch.  The images was coloured with copics (E00, E11, E13, E15, E17, E19, E21, E31, E35, E37, E41, E43, E44 and E53).  The Stamping Boutique has many super cute Audrey images so be sure to check them out as I promise you they are all equally adorable!   Have a great week everyone :)

Princess Gwendolyn - Card Patterns Sketch 69 Sponsored by The Stamping Boutique

For my card I decided to use the "Princess Gwendolyn" digi image which you can pick up here.  She is also available in rubber if you prefer.  As soon as I saw this image I new I had to have her as she is simply adorable and perfect for a card for a little girl.  I coloured this with copics & cut out with my nesties.  Unfortunately I had multiple projects on the go and my workspace was a HUGE mess so all my copic colours got mixed up and I didn't keep track of them.  The design paper I used was from Best Creation Inc and it is so sparkly but I couldn't get that to show well in my photo.  I used primas with some mini pearls and a "Sweet" sticker sentiment which I stuck on to paper then cut out and used pop-up dots to raise it up.

Serenity - With a little help from a Special Someone!

I was colouring some of my images from The Stamping Boutique tonight and my son Tyler asked if he could help me make a card.  Of course I said YES!  He loves to colour with me but when it comes to cardmaking he'd much rather skip it and go watch cartoons, read a book or play a game!  So here is what he helped with!

I coloured the image "Serenity" with Copics & Spica glitter pens and used the current sketch from Card Positioning Systems.  My son wanted to add all the stars so it has lots of bling which fits into the current challenge at Meljen's Designs which is #11 Sparkle, Glitter & Bling.  I had fun creating with him and even if it isn't exactly how I would do it, it was a labour of LOVE and that's what makes it extra special :)

The Stamping Boutique - Cynthia Gathering Mushrooms

I'm excited to post another card I made for The Stamping Boutique!  Today TSB is sponsoring a challenge over at 2 Sketches 4 you and this is my creation.

For my card I'm using a new digi image "Cynthia Gathering Mushrooms" which you can pick up over at the TSB store.  I coloured the image with copics and added a fair bit of sparkle with my spica glitter pens however it isn't showing up too well in the photo.  Other supplies used:  oval & oval scallop nesties, felt flowers by Hero Arts, Bazill cardstock, and Swiss Dots Cuttlebug embossing folder.  I love this fabulous DP which is from my scraps so I'm not sure of the manufacturer.  It's so pretty with all the glittery flowers!  Ooooh I almost forgot!  If you join us at The Stamping Boutique Group here over at Paper Craft Planet you can get this image for free!   All the details are on the group page so be sure to check it out!  REMEMBER:  The Stamping Boutique is now offering a monthly challenge so be sure to check out the website and show us your creations using TSB images for your chance to win free digi images of your choice!  The link is here!

My First TSB Blog Post - Happy Father's Day

I'm super excited to be posting my first ever card as a member of The Stamping Boutique Design Team!

The digi images are super adorable and as soon as I saw this one "AJ with Sign" I knew I had to have it as it reminds me of my son!  I made this card for my son to give to his Dad on Father's Day.

All design paper I used was from Basic Grey's Wisteria Line and the cardstock is Bazill.  I distressed the edges with Palette "Burnt Umber" and used my EK punch for the wavy border.  I added some ribbon and buttons from my stash and the sentiments are Making Memories Rub-ons.  The image was coloured with copics (B21, B23, B37, R02, E00, E11, E41, E43, E53, E55, E57 and E59).   I also used my Lemon Spica Glitter Pen for all the little stars & dots around the image.  I will be entering this into The Card Patterns Challenge Blog Sketch 66 as I used their sketch for the layout.  Also will be entering in the One Stitch at a Time Challenge Blog - where the challenge is to create using something new.  Since this is a new digi image for my first TSB post I'm sure it will count!   Hope you like it :)

I was away for a few days on vacation and when I got back I found out I made The Stamping Boutique Design Team (just in case you didn't notice the new link in my sidebar).   I'm super excited and can't wait to start creating and posting using these fabulous images!  Be sure to check out the links to see fabulous creations from the other DT members.  I'm really looking forward to working with them :)

Paper Sundaes Challenge #7 - Sketch Challenge The Stamping Boutique

It's time for another Paper Sundaes Challenge!  Paper Sundaes Challenge #7 this week is a Sketch Challenge sponsored by The Stamping Boutique.  I have to say it was so hard to choose an image to use since all of their images are soooooo adorable!  I finally narrowed it down to "Sunflower Girl" which is an amazing digi image & I love sunflowers so it was perfect!  Here is this weeks sketch:

I have to say that I absolutely love my card!  The colours in this amazing paper line are so bright and cheery they just make me happy!  The paper line is by Imaginisce's Lucy Bird line and are called Daisy May & Pretty Maids all in a Row.  The cardstock I used was Bazill, of course!   I coloured her with Copics (E00, E02, E11, E13, E41, E43, E44, E55, E57, E59, BG11, BG13, YG11, YG13, YG17, RV32, RV34, R02, YR21, YR23 and YR24).  Other supplies used: Dew Drops, Kraftin Kimmies Sentiment.
