Butterfly Tilda - October Challenge

I love Magnolia Images (managed to collect quite a few) and I've been following a blog over at The Little Stampe Shoppe (great store in Canada for Magnolia images) for the past few months. I have been participating in the challenges which has been a lot of fun. The challenge this month was to create a pink card, the more pink the better in honour of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I've had this image of Tilda as a Butterfly which I got in a swap over at Splitcoast for awhile now and I had coloured it weeks ago while I was vacationing at our families cabin on Lummi Island in Washington. This was the perfect time to use it! I coloured the image with copics, used Daisy Bucket Designs Paper, used my new Martha Stewart Lace Punch border and added a few gemstones and my masterpiece was complete....who knew it could be so easy!

On another note, when I started my blog yesterday I thought maybe I should wait until I have more time to manage it, create stuff to post to it and all that fun stuff. HOWEVER, I find that I'm looking forward to creating so that I have something to post so maybe this blog will be a huge motivator for me to get off my butt and start using some (OK....tons) of images I've been collecting from the swaps over at Splitcoast (which by the way are so much fun)! So hopefully this will continue to be the case and I'll have more cards to post this week!

As usual, great colouring job on tilda! As an idea for a future post you could walk us through how you colour her/which marker #'s you are using etc...Myself, I can never get her to look like that :-)
The use of DP and the border punch are also great, such a happy card!
