A Note of Thanks - TSB Daisy's

Wow!  I'm managing to post two days in a row, can you believe it?  Now that things are somewhat back to normal I've had a bit more time to create & had so much fun with this fabulous image "Daisy's" from The Stamping Boutique!  I used the sketch from Cute Card Thursday Challenge #131 as my base for the sketch but rotated it so I'm hoping that is still OK.
I coloured the image with copics and then cut out using my nesties.  The paper is Basic Grey and the sentiments is from a set by Hero Arts called "From the Heart Greetings".  Other materials used:  Bazill Cardstock, rhinestones.  I know I'll be using this image alot as it was very easy to colour & can be used on so many occasions.  Be sure to stop by the store to check out all of Tracey's new images & enter in the monthly contest to win free images from The Stamping Boutique!

Paper Sundaes Challenge "Winged Things"

It's good to be back posting a card for everyone to see, it's been quite a while since my last post!  I'm hoping I can get back into the swing of things and begin to post more regularly from now on.  The card I made is for this weeks Paper Sundaes Challenge "Winged Things".  We are again being sponsored by Stamp & Create & our design team was lucky enough to get to play with the new Wags n Whiskers Fairies line.  I used "Angelica" and think she is absolutely fabulous!
I coloured her with copics and then added a bit of glitter around her wings and the sash on her dress.  This image was so much fun to colour!  The design paper I used was by Dream Street from the Simply Stated line.  I LOVE this paper and have been hoarding it for awhile now so it felt good to use it!  I even brought out my sewing machine and felt brave enough to try something other than a straight stitch which was quite adventurous for me.  I love the look of it.  Other supplies used:  Glitter Paper cut out with scallop square nestie, Making Memories ribbon (another supply I've been hoarding -it's my absolute fave ribbon), & some rhinestones.  I didn't add a sentiment for the moment however I think at some point I will add on "Wishing you the Fairy Best"!

Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend!  I've got a super hectic few weeks ahead.  I just signed my son up for cub scouts last week (which he absolutely loves) and I've been busy trying to get the pieces for his new uniform and now have to gather a whole bunch of supplies as he is going off camping in a few weeks!  I'm in a mad panic to get it all done in time, not sure how I'm going to fit this all in!  I'll definitely have to post a picture of him in his uniform once it is all complete!

Back to School Audrey Bookmark

I'm sorry it's been so long since my last post.  I've had some things going on in my personal life and just haven't been able to post lately.  I made this book mark using the Stamping Boutique image "Back to School Audrey" as The Stamping Boutique is sponsoring the challenge over at Dutch Dare Card Challenges (Create a Back to School Bookmark).
I have to say that I love how this turned out.  The image was coloured with copics and then I added glossy accents to her glasses.  All paper is from my DCWV Grade School paper pack and cardstock was bazill.  Other supplies used:  brads & ribbon from my stash & EK Border Punch.  I'm giving this bookmark away to the little girl of a friend of mine whose name also happens to be Audrey!

Best Wishes on your Birthday!

Today's card was made using The Stamping Boutique image "Audrey with a Cupcake", isn't she just adorable?  Tracey has so many fantastic Audrey images over at her store!  I made this card for Aud Sentiments Challenge Blog and the challenge is to use the sentiment "Best Wishes" on your card.   I followed the sketch over at The Sweet Stop (SSS71).
The image was coloured with copics and all paper for this card was from Bo Bunny.  The flower, ribbon & brad were all from supplies I've had for a while so it was nice to use them and the "Best Wishes" sentiment was from CC Designs Spring kit.  Hope you are having a fabulous week!
