Critter Sketch Challenge #73 - A Sketch

It's time for our 37th Challenge over at Critter Sketch Challenge Blog & this week it's a fabulous sketch by our very own Melanie Newby:

Here's my card:
I used this image I coloured with copic markers by Stamping Bella called "Cosmobella" which is available over at Stamp & Create who is our sponsor for the month of July over at Critter Sketch.  I love this store because they carry so many great lines of stamps as well as many other supplies, embellishments etc.  Be sure to check them out!  For my card I used DP from Basic Grey's Lemonade collection & Bazill Cardstock.  I used one of my souffle pens to add some shine to her martini & added some misc ribbon & a Making Memories sentiment I've had for ages.

Can't wait to see what you come up with using our sketch :)

Paper Sundaes Challenge - Gift it!

Happy Sundae!  What a crazy week it's been for me but I was sure looking to our Paper Sundaes Challenge this week!  The Challenge this week is "Gift it"!  That's right create something that you intend to give away as a gift.    As soon as I found out about this challenge I knew I wanted to create a gift bag (one of many I'll be making) because I always bake sweet treats & other goodies at Christmas time for my family & thought it would be a fun way to package them up.  I think I'll put some cellophaned wrapped caramel corn or fudge in this one.

Stamp & Create is our sponsor this week and I love this store!  If I had endless supplies of money I would shop there all the time since Lacey always has great sales and the shipping is FAST!  This image by CC Designs called "Sweet November - Sprite Darby & Pudge" was one I fell in love with as soon as I saw it!  I coloured her with my new Prismacolor pencils and I think I LOVE them as much as my copics!!  Never, ever thought I would say that!!  Once coloured I cut the image out with my Spellbinders Labels Eight and began adding snowflakes.  The larger snowflakes were all cut out using a Martha Stewart punch and the little snowflakes were cut out using and EK Success Punch.  All of the paper is all Basic Grey Wassail from last season & the crochet lace ribbon was some that I had purchased from Stamp & Create this past summer.  I also sprayed the snowflakes with Glimmer Mist however it doesn't show up as well in the photo as it does in person.

I will be entering my gift bag into the following challenges:
Creative Inspirations - Christmas Gift
Bunny Zoes Crafts - Anything Christmas (but not a card)
Wags N Whiskers Challenge 42 - Snowflakes
All that Scraps - Snowflakes
Stamp & Create - Challenge #7 - Tis the Season
Fussy & Fancy Friday Challenge Week 25- Anything but a card

Paper Sundaes Challenge - Let it Snow!!

Today's challenge posted over at the Paper Sundaes Challenge Blog has the theme "Let it Snow" and this week we are being sponsored by Stamp & Create!  For my card I chose to use the Kraftin Kimmie image Clara which you can pick up over at our sponsors store!   Stamp & Create carries many different stamp lines including High Hopes, The Greeting Farm, Penny Black, Whiff of Joy & so many more so be sure to stop by!
I coloured the image with copics and added stickles to her scarf & the barettes in her hair.  The snowflake was punched out using a Martha Stewart Snowflake punch and then I airbrushed it to match and added some stickles.  The sentiment is from a set I have by Hero Arts & the Snowflake & Background DP is by Dream Street appropriately titled "Wonderland - Let it Snow".  The glittery brad entered in the centre of the snowflake is by Recollections.

I will be entering my card in Stamp & Create's Challenge #7 - Tis the Season (aka Christmas or Holiday Card cause what says Christmas/Holiday more than SNOW :)

Paper Sundaes Challenge #30 - Metal

Happy Sundae!  It's Paper Sundaes Challenge #30 wow how time flies when you are having fun!  This week our challenge is to use Metal on your card/project and our sponsor for the week is Stamp & Create!  This is another great store to shop at with a variety of stamps, embellishments, nestabilities and so much more!  I bought my bow-easy and some fabulous silk ribbon there and they have really fast service.  One lucky winner this week will win a $20 gift certificate to spend at Lacey's store!  For my card/project I used a stamp available at Stamp & Create "Chillin' Out" which is from the Wags N Whiskers line.  I coloured the image with copics and then drew the sun and sand around the image with my copic multiliner pen.  I used glossy accents on the sunglasses and used one of my cuttlebug folders for the swirl background.  I used red adhesive metal letters that I've had for quite a while for "Summer Fun".  I think that I may actually use this on a scrapbook page in the future for those lazy summer days at the beach!  Hope everyone is enjoying their summer!
